Nomenclature
The city has a nomenclature with avenues going from south to north and streets going from
east to west. Numbering starts at Calle 1 sur, which limits with municipalities of Envigado
and Itaguí, up to calle 124, limiting with municipality of Bello, and from carrera 4 at Buenos
Aires neighborhood, at the east, up to carrera 110, sector of Robledo and San Javier at the
west.

Feria Taurina de la Candelaria: (January to February)
Desfile de Silleteros (August) The rurals come down to the city with their mule chairs. They
participate in a contest with three categories: emblems, combination of themes, and general
crafts.
Festival anual del Tango: (June). It takes place at the Casa Gardeliana.
Festival del Recuerdo: (Annual) parades, contests, exhibitions, antique cars, etc.. It does
not have a precise date.
Festival de la Trova: (September). Trouveurs participate with their knavery couplets.
Festival de Mitos y Leyendas: It takes place at Pueblito Paisa, located on the Cerro
Nutibara, with "patasola", "madremonte", "sombreron", and "judío errante" on stage.
